Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was great. Dougie was old enough to actually have some fun. First, he got to come to work with me and parade with all the students. When we got home, I tried to have him help me carve a pumpkin, but he wnated nothing to do with the gooey mess. Next, we went to the Harvest Festival for our church where we saw the cousins and had a photo op. Finally, we went home, trick-or-treated a bit, then Dougie helped us pass out candy (most of the time he spent taking all the candy out of our caldron and placing it in his bag).

I Love My New Kitchen

Here are a few pictures of my new kitchen. The backsplash is not done yet and the fridge is missing in this picture, but it is fully functional at last. It is so amazing that we can't stop cooking in it.

Trip to Arizona

Dougie and I took a trip with Daddy to Arizona. While Doug was working we spent everyday hanging out with Brooke and her family. It was great seeing everyone again. Dougie slept the entire flight there and back (thank goodness).

Dougie had fun playing on the trampoline, swimming in the pool and driving around with Kailani and Reegan.

Timothy's Birthday Party

We had fun at my cousin's little boy Timothy's 1st Birthday. Dougie enjoyed playing on the swings with Daddy and hitting the pinata.

Catching Up!

Well I have fallen really behind, so this is me playing catch-up. You would think me being home all summer I would be able to keep my Blog up to date, but how do you find time with a toddler getting into everything every 5 seconds :)
Dog Bite from Chelsea
My mom's dog Chelsea bit Dougie after he startled her in her bed. He ended up having to get above his lip glued together. All that is left now is a small scar.

A Day at Huntington Beach with Grandma for her Birthday.
Dougie enjoyed talking and playing in the sand, but he was not a fan of the cold water.

Trip to Mammoth for Spring Break
We stopped at Fossil Falls on the way to Mammoth. When we got to Mammoth it was freeeezzzing, so Dougie went to bed with his beanie on. He had fun with his cousins and enjoyed his first time playing in the snow.

Easter Sunday

Dougie was so excited to open his Easter basket.
He looked so adorable in his Easter outfit.
He also found a few eggs.
We were going to go swimming, but the pool had too much chlorine :(

Dougie's First Birthday

Yum! Dougie started off by taking tiny little bites, then we shoved his hand in. He was really tired, so the cake eating didn't last very long. His party was very cold, windy, and ended with rain and hail :( It was just long enough for everyone to enjoy each other for a couple hours.

This is Dougie's new ride.
